I had my passport stamped today for I-551. I reached the office around 8.15, and the counters open only around 8.30. I was #2 in the line (there was no line) and #1 had come for something else. They called me to the counter, I presented our passports, original approval notices, and photographs. No other documents asked for, no questions. The entire process was complete in less than five minutes. Those going to Norfolk, no need to go before the office opens.
