It was very surprising for me to see hardly 25 people in the Third floor for Green card stamping on wednesday.
We reached Newark INS at 10.40AM and took the elivator to go to third floor where Green cards and Citizenship cases will be taken. We waited in the line to give papers to receptionist and it took 5 minutes because the lady went for a break. She collected the 485 approvals of mine and my wife and she asked to sit in the third floor lobby. Exactly after 5 minutes we were called at the counter 5 by IIO and she took all our EADs, H1s , APs, I-94s and photos (we got it done at Photo loft, next to INS as recommended by my attorney $10.65 for four photos). She stamped in our passports and she said it will take 2-3 months for actual cards arrived to us. No employment letter, no w-2s , no recent pay stubs, no tax filings, no w-2s and no questions at all.... It is simple and piece of cake.
