Hi Guys,
I did stamping yesterday and it was a cakewalk. Here is how it went..
a) Reached INS office at 8:00 am and parked in INS parking lot. pl.ensure you reach early to find a spot ($7).
b) Went to 4th floor and stood in a line to get in. Finally went in at 8:45 and received token #.
c) Stood again in line for fingerprinting and photo session (if you did not bring one).
d) Waited for 3 hrs for my number to be called. IIO asked me for
485 courtesy copy, passport with I-94, 2 photos. Told us we need to wait again as thay do security check. She did not ask me for EAD/AParole docs.
e) Waited for 45 min and IIO called us again and gave as our passports. Also mentioned that we can now go out of country/start working as my history was built into the system. She stamped my passport till apr 2003.
My joy knew no bounds... The ordeal is finally over...
Best of Luck to all...
