Today we went to San Jose INS for passport stamping. The whole process was smooth and took 1hr30 min. There is some confusion whether we should take child under 14 or not. My lawyer adviced me not to take risk. I took my son who is 8 yrs old and he was asked to sign(b'coz he could write his name) and his finger print was also taken. I gave latest EAD as she asked for it other than I-94, photos, approval notice & passport for stamping. No questions were asked.
