Passport stamping at San Jose-Please help

Although my case got approved from Vermont, my passport stamping has to be at the Monterey Road office in San Jose. Can someone please let me know if the situation at San Jose is still as bad as it was a month back, that is if you don\'t reach there by 3:30 or 4:00 am there is no way you can make it inside?? Please help.

Try on mid-week(definitely not on Monday) and
I guess it should be fine to go at 4am.
