Transit Visa

I just checked one of my email account and found this response from French Consulate, Washington DC.

Now, I am confused, whether I should take Transit Visa or not.

Dear Sir,

If the USA Permananent resident stamp of your wife is valid, she does
not need an airport transit visa.

Sincerely,

I called up the New York, France consulate office I got the same responce. Called Air India they are saying all approved green cards with stamping after 1998 travelrers not required Transit Visa.

I am planning not to apply for France Transit Visa but I need to find about London Transit visa. Since I am coming back throgh London.

Share your info. friends.

To keep this thread active, I am repeating the question again.

I got the answer for Paris Transit Visa but not for the London?

With green card stamping in the passport, do I require a Transit Visa for UK?

Thanks in advance.
