Passport stamped!

I got my passport stamped today.
Local office at Norfolk, VA
Arrived 8:30am
Admitted at 8:45am after security officer checked bags.
Gave a number and waited to be called for 15 min.
Gave documents to officer: original I485 approval notice; current I-94 card; EAD cards, Travel documents; ADIT photo x2; passport.
Was asked to fingerprints on both side of I-89 form, and signed name.
Officer stamped passport in front of me and wrote A# and EAC# on passport. It is valid for one year. The whole process takes about 3 min.
Was told the physical green card takes anywhere 3-12 mo.
Relieved!

Finger print

Both side of I=89......

Yes, you do need to print your index FP on both side of the I-89 form. And sign your name on both side as well. If you did only one fringer print, you'd better make sure there is no problem in your card processing.
