Hello Friends,
We got our passports stamped yesterday in Hartford,CT.We got in around 8:55AM and we were done by 9:45AM.First stage of the process is wait in a line and take a token at the entrance in Room 456 (4 th floor) (The whole process is in the same room). Then we got our fingerprints done in Room 456A .This was done by 9:05AM(This room is within Room 456.If you don\'t have photographs you can get it done in the same room). We waited for 30 minutes for our number to flash on the LCD screen .The lady at the counter was polite .She asked for Passport,I-94 card,Photographs,Courtesy copy of 485 Approval (i also tried to give her the original copy but she gave it back). She asked me if i have any travel documents (AP).I told her i never took Advance Parole. She asked me to go and get the fingerprint paper from Room 456A.She looked at all the pages of my passport and crossed all my VISAS (2-H1 and 1-F1)stamps with a red dot pen. Then she stamped our passports and with a pen she wrote the A# number and a validity date (March 19, 2002) and told us we would get our cards in six months.
By the way on the token it said estimated wait time is 39 minutes. And they were right.Atleast at one stage of the process they are really right.
Anyway my details:
