Passport stamped !!!

Finally, my ordeal is over !!! Mine and my wife's passports are stamped today. I got the approval of I-485s dated 12/22/05. The weird info in the Approval notice that 'Your case is approved. If we need more biometrics, we'll let you know thru separate notice. Pls. do not take any action at this time.' Even after a month, the online status has not changed to 'card ordered'. I called the customer service and subsequently scheduled an appointment with Memphis center. They were amused as well. Finally, since everything was over and I-485 was approved, they have collected by fingerprinting and signatures of both of us and our passports are stamped as well. It was over in about 10 minutes.

Congratulations! I received the same message in my email approval on 1/13/06 and then again on the approval notice which I received on 1/21/06. However, on the same day I also received an appt. notice for capturing biometrics. The appt. is scheduled for 1/31/06.
