Passport Stamped

Hi

My GC has been approved on March 15th,2004 and got Stamped Yesterday, March 24th, 2004. After stamping the officer told me that to get the plastic card it may take a year, becasue there is a big backlog for cards. Is this true?

I received my card after 9 months of stamping.

Got mine in a week

They saw one week as backlog for cards but I485 they take 2.5 years.. what do they say that.. black-hole
