My appointment was for Wednesday between 8AM and 12 Noon. Went to the Federal Building at 7:45 AM (paid parking right in front of the building). There was a small queue. Went to 3rd floow (Room 334). Gave the original approval notice to the receptionist. My name was called after 20 minutes. Gave the passport, EAD (I do not have Advance Parole), two immigration photos, and I-94 to the lady at the counter. She took my fingerprint right there, stamped my passport right there (the stamp says that it is a temporary stamp valid for one year), and congratuated me on becoming a permanent resident. She told me that I will get the card within a year. I was out by 9:10 AM.
