I got my papers yesterday ( Mar 12th, 2001 ). Went to the
local INS office in Latham, NY. After reading some experiences
of other posters here, I went there 30 minutes early at 7.30am.
But there was nobody there and neither did they open the front
door. So I went for a drive, came back at 8.05, went thru the
security; I was sent straight to a window. I gave my approval
paper, passport, photos, EAD. Our I94 were lost with our passport;
I told her that and she did not say anything. She got our
fore-finger imprints and stamped our passports. We were out of
there by 8.15!
