I got my passport stamped in Detroit this morning. I had my Infopass appointment at 7:30 A.M and I was out by 7:40 A.M. I reached the USCIS office around 10-15 minutes prior to the appointment. At the gate, the security asked me to keep my cellphone back in the car because it was a camera phone. I was seated inside by 7:25 A.M. I was called by the lady at the counter at around 7:35 A.M. She asked me for the approval notice, passport, I-94, 2 photographs, EADs and Advance Parole. She took my signature and fingerprints on a form and stamped my passport. She told me that the temporary green card stamp was valid for a year and I should receive the plastic card within that period. If not, I should come back to the office to get the passport re-stamped. It was a very easy process.
