Passport Stamped - do we need visa for canada now ?

I am planning on traveling to Canada, would I need a visa to go there ? I am expecting to get the plastic card before the trip, would that make any difference ? Travel by road or air will be the same thing as far as visa requirements are concerned ?

How about european countries ?

Does anybody have a list of countries we can visit (with PR) without getting further visas ? The travel bug is acting up again :-)

Except for Switzerland you have to get visas

What you do not need with GC is Transit Visa that some schengen counytries and UK required.
But you still need visitor visa for almost all countries except Switzerland.(unless the rules have changed in last few months)

Check out the consular website of the country you want to visit
 
I checked canadian govt website

and it says if you\'ve a permanent resident, then you donot need a visa to enter canada
