Thought it would be nice to share my good news with you.
I got the approval notice email on 11/9 when I was in my home country during a business trip. Yes, I used the AP to enter the US on 11/15. No problem at all at the SFO.
My appointment at the SF INS was at 1pm. Arrived just on time. There were about 20-30 people waiting in line, but was guided to enter the building earlier than those people who have a later appointment time.
I was asked for the AP and the EAD. They also kept the I-94 card from my passport. Was told the plastic card will arrive in 10 months. I thought the lady said 10 days, and asked for confirmation. She stared at me, firmly repeated, 10 months... Well, whatever.
It took exactly 56mins to complete the whole process. I know this because the meter became expired just when I walked back to my car. Everything seemed perfectly.

I-140(EB1A) ND 6/18/03
I-140(EB1B) ND 8/28/03
I-485 ND 5/25/04 (was first connected with the EB1A case)
RFE on both the I-140(EB1A) and I-485 on 9/10/04
EB1B I-140 approved on 9/22/04

supprisingly, I-140(EB1A) also got approved on 11/9/04 even I did not do anything on the RFE.
