Hi All
  I got my approval notice from lawyer last week ( 14th Aug ). I went to INS at 6.55 AM this monday (20th Aug ). Did the Fingerprinting at the entrance. Dont fill up the form since it is for INS to do that. Went inside thru Queue and there was a counter where they check the documents. Since the crowd is less at that time the lady at the counter itself did the stamping. Or else I have to take a token and wait for my number to be called. Waiting for the plastic cards.

Kannan, Could you provide more details about your case, I know you have been moved to different city after you filed 485 and you have been asking questions on this board where to for Stamping? If you post your experience and sugestions for the cases like you it would be great benefit to all new comers on this board as well as others.

Answer for you Oct2000 as well as other ( Moving after 485 )

I Filed 485 in Boston then I moved to KY. I have not updated my address to KY since INS might transfer the case to Texas. My Lawyer told dont change address since all originals till approval goes to Lawyer. My Finger Printing as well as RFE and approval went to Lawyer. I went to Boston for FP/stamping as per notice. I got my stamping now and I am going to call INS next week to update my current address. If people move in same Service centre there is no problem. If they move from one Service center to another they transfer your case or might get delayed.
