Passport Request

I have submitted all the required documents (PCC, Medicals and RPRF) on April 22nd 2005, the RPRF is cashed on April 28th 2005, but no word yet on my passport request. I heard it takes max of 2 months to get the passport request once all the final set of documents were sent. Any one has any clue what I should do? Should I contact them by FAX or can I wait for few more weeks? Is this delay normal?

Urban myth. The med results can take 2 months to arrive at the CHC, the background security check can take from 3 months to over a year, depending on your nationality, where you have resided, and how cooperative is the country of nationality. Also depends on the office where you applied, for example Manila has reached its quota for the year, and will not be issuing any visas until January/06.
