Passport request by LA Canadian Consulate

Hi All:

Has anyone submitted their passport resently for their visa to Los Angeles Candian Consulate? how long did it take?

I will appreciate some feed back pls.

I recently applied for my mother's TRV (temporary resident visa) while she was here in US, for a visit to Canada.

It was pretty prompt, we received her passport with visa stamped in 2 weeks I guess.
