Passport Lost during validation of visa pls help

My I140 Is pending at CSC (No 485).
i HAD SENT MY passports along with original renewed I94's to my company so that they could send it for visa revalidation. It has been a week that i sent them my priority mail with signature confirmation. They havent been received.

In case they are lost pls let me know what i need to do .I understand that I can get new passports but will something need to be changed on my pending i140 or any other thing.

They havent been received. did you check using tracking number if available? you could have send it directly. why did you send it to your company. are you sure your company really did not receive it. check with fedex or whatever. as you have requested signature confirmation they can let you know if it has been delivered and to whom. if its not delivered and if its lost while in transit then the mailing service may be liable. call them and check the status.

if you really have lost then you must immediately file a complaint with local police station and get a record number. this is very important. you will not be sure who as your pp now. notify your company and request new passport from the local embassy of your country with proper documentation like police complaint report etc. act quickly if you really have lost the pp. this should normally wont affect your i140 but you might have to discuss with your lawyer as he/she might have to notify your new pp number if it changes (i am not sure if you would get new number or not). act quickly. talk to your lawyer immediately.
