Passport in 8 days

Hi,
I had an expidited passport mailed to me in 8 days. Hope this is helpful. Here is my overall timeline for my citizenship and passport :

District office: Bloomington. Minnesota
Receipt Date of N-400 application: 10-25-06.
Fingerprinted on : 11-15-06.
Interview scheduled on : 01-16-07
Rescheduled interview
Rescheduled interview date: 03-06-07
Oath letter received: 03-22-07
Oath date: 04-11-07
Passport application date: 04-11-07.
Received Passport: 04-19-07

Wow, that sure is fast. Most recent cases I have seen on this forum and elsewhere lately, it is taking about 3 to 4 weeks to get the passport obtained via expedited service.

Did you submit any proof of upcoming travel, like a travel itinerary or copy of tickets along with your passport application?

I did not submit any travel dates with my application.

We have almost identical timeline for N400 application sequence. I applied for my passport on 4/9.....ready and sent message on 4/18.. expect to receive 4/23 according to their website...I didnt ask for overnight delivery ..did u?

I had an expedited passport application along with overnight express delivery. Hope this helps.
