passport got change...guru help needed

HI guru,

My passport is changed recently. When i applied for I-485 my passport was different(old passport with different number). Since the old passport was more than 10 years old, i applied for renewal and got the new one. How do i inform INS about it? Is it going to affect my processing time.

Any help will be appriciated.

No Problem

I was in the similar situation. When I went for GC Stamping, the office did not ask anything about the passport. You are fine.

Passport change does not matter at all.

All INS cares is that you have valid passport, thats all. I changed passport recently for my daughter and confirmed with my lawyer.
