My husband and I received the RFE/RFI emails, but haven't received the hard copy yet. Anticipating they would ask for medical exam form, we made an appointment with a doctor. The doctor asked us to take passports with us because he needs to fill the passport # in the form. My husband's passport already expired and of course, he didn't renew it. We don't mind giving the doctor the passport #, but my concern is would filling his passport # makes CIS suspect my husand renewned his passport? I know it shoudn't, but I just want to be very careful. For those guys who already submitted the medical form and whose passports expired, can you please share your experience/opinion? I guess I'm worried too much. Thanks!

It should be no problem. As a matter of fact if you call the USCIS nubmer they will tell you its ok. Plus you haven't renewed your passport so USCIS wont suspect you of anything without a proof...

If you dont feel comfortable using your passport #...there are lots of doctors that dont require passport #...Go through the list and call the docs and ask them what they need. I went to INOVA hospital in Virginia that asked for a state issued ID and a picture.

They asked me to fill the top portion of the form so I put my A#..

It is not a big deal if you put your passport #.
