passport extention after I485

Hi,
We filed I485 on 2/28/2002. My husband\'s passport is going to be expired on July. He is going to extend his passport soon. Will this affect on I485 application? Do we need to send the copy of the extended passport to INS?

In the same boat

My passport will expire this June. I talked to my attorney and she said it is ok for me to get it renewed. So mailed the passport last week... hoping to get it by mid-march. My I485(CSC) RD is aug 01 ...I dont think it is going to be adjudicated before that... so dont worry...go ahead and get yr passport renewed.
