Passport Expiring

Guys I need your help.

My wife's passport is expiring in four months (June 2005) and we are ready for stamping any time next week in Philly. Should I renew her passport first before going for stamping (or should I say, scheduling for infopass) or we can go ahead and have our passports stamped?

Remeber if passport is about to expire they will do the stamping on a I-94 look-alike form and attach it to her passport. You can then unstaple it from old passpot ans staple to new passport, when you get it.
 
I am not sure about the "I-94 like" form, but I got my stamp done from Philly and my passport was valid for 6 months at the time of stamping and the officer stamped the I-551 for only 6 months, he said, the actual cards will arrive by then. They usually stamp the passport for one year otherwise.

Thanks Joy. I saw your signature & looks like you get stamped Dec, 2004. Did you have your physical GC now?
