I am working for an MNC in India. My Company at US proposes process L1 for me this month.
My passport (10 years validty one) is expiring in Dec 2005. By the time my L1 petition approves it will be teh end of March 2005 / April. And I can secure an appointment only June 2005. This falls short of the requirement 6 months validity of the passport on the date of stamping.
I understood that the reissue/renewal of mypassport takes around 45 days.
My question here is Can the L1 petion be approved with my current passport and, can I for staming on the new issued passport. Would there be any issues.
What could be teh best option I have..
