Passport expires 24 days after the interview

Hi,

Happy getting closer. Worried if there will be a problem :( My passport expires 24 days after the interview date. Should I try to change my passport before I go to the interview (Nov 3, 08)?

I already sent them my original (translated and certified by my consulate) birth certificate. They still ask for my birth certificate for the interview. Is having a copy of original (translated and certified by my consulate) birth certificate with me sufficient or should I get another original (translated and certified by my consulate) birth certificate?

I appreciate your response. Thanks a lot. Good luck to all (including me) ;)

Happy and Worried

Yes, certified copy of your BC would serve the purpose.
Even expired passport is not a problem for your interview as long as it has your arrival stamp incase the IO wants to verify your travel dates. You can renew your passport after the interview whenever it's convenient for you.

Good luck, you're all set.
