Passport Expired after 485 filing

I need some advice. My son's passport expired more than 6 months after we filed 485. Now we have got a new passport for him. Is there any procedure to be done before we can get the passport stamped? My RD is 12/05/01, which seems to be pretty close to the current processing dates.

Dont worry,, Just go with both the passport. They will stamp in new passport.

Mine passport expired after filing 485. Got approved and stamped on 16th April. No questions asked.
