Passport Agency for Same-day Passport Experience

I am planning to visit passport agency in philadelphia after I get my oath done. Anyone here have done that before?

Do they generally provide same-day service? Any tricks to get through automated scheduling system?

I do have short international trip coming up end of august and have ticket for it. Would that be sufficient?

I think you need to provide evidence of a foreign trip happening within 2 weeks or so of your appointment at the passport office. Tickets or travel itinerary are generally sufficient.

Besides, I am visiting my family in philly anyways, so it is not much of stretch.

Now, only if I can get through this darn automated scheduling system
