Processing Times for Asylee Adjustment Cases

Adjustment of Status for Asylees

The Service is receiving between 25,405– 43,881 applications per year. Consequently, as of April 30, 2006, approximately 112,985 asylee adjustment applications were pending. We anticipate that we will process pending applications according to the following schedule:

Date Received (Mail Date)--- Timeframe to be Processed
On or before January 1, 2003------ September 30, 2006
June 1, 2003-March 31, 2007----- September 30, 2007
On or after April 1, 2007 --------- Within 6 months of receipt

We emphasize that these dates are APPROXIMATIONS; unforeseen occurrences may delay processing.
Look at this. If this is true, we all get our Green Cards within next 12 months.
Received Date for mine is 09/2005. So approximately, I will get my card in May or June 2007.

I already gave Finger print but did not receive any R.F.I. for medical.
Recently they removed approximate number of dates to wait for processing. But no LUD change.

What is next? Get ready for a party? Or above time frame for only those who sent medical with their initial application?
