Hello,
I am currently visiting family in the US from Canada. I was issued a B2 when I enter into the US back in August.
I recently found a psychological study that sounds interesting and I would like to participate. They are offering monetary compensation for participants but I do not need the compensation so if possible, I would decline it. They are also extremely picky in regard to their participants so there is a possibility that I will not be chosen to participate. I understand that I cannot work and receive money for working in the US but this situation seems like a grey area. Am I able to participate in research studies while I am visiting on a B2?
I have looked around and cannot find any information about this situation. If anyone has links to information on participating in research while on a B2, I would appreciate it.
