I started a company few months after I got my GC. It was never a full-time thing. I have been doing it part-time for the last 4+ years. I filed all taxes regularly and I am making some money off the company but, not enough to quit my full-time job.

Should I list it in employment history?

Thanks for your help.

regards,

Amy

I had a similar situation, and I did report it on N400.
In the interview, no question was asked related to areas of sources of income.

Best of luck

Thanks Ravirai. I really appreciate it. Congratulations on completing your process so quickly.

I totally forgot about it when filling my form - fortunately I did not mail it yet. Then I was concerned that since I literally registered my company with in 2 weeks after my GC, it may be construed as an intention to leave my sponsoring employer.

I may be thinking too much on this.

BTW, the instructions say that we need to write our alien # on back of the check. I wrote it in front of the check. Back is for endorsement when cashing - so, I am a bit skeptical to write my A# in the back of the check but, I am also concerned about not following the instructions to the T.

any inputs?

thanks

I dont think you need to write the A# in the back. You should surely write the A# in the memo field.
