Parents visiting while pending

I guess most of your guys know my scenario. Decision waiting for 7 months, ead pending for 4.5+ months and 11 months after application submission. :( My dad got the 5 years B1 visa to the U.S. when I was in the university and finishing my degree. And now, my dad wants to visit here to meet me. I was wondering will my case have any effect on his arrival? Should he mention about me or my scenario while entering this country? Also, how long can he stay here? I heard in B1, you can only live 1-2 months and should have a return ticket around that time else they will deny at port of entry.
Any idea guys?
I can't visit my parents but at least my parents can visit me. :)
 
Your dad should answer all questions truthfully at the airport and he will be fine. Most likely he will get 6 months. Your case will have no bearing on whether he is allowed to enter or not.
 
Actually this is interesting topic, My mother doesn't have visa but I want her to visit me, does she have chances to get visitors visa provided that I am pending asylum applicant?
