Parents Visa without NOC

My parents (Father retired mother central govt employee) are going to the visa interview next week. Unfortunately my mother has not received her NOC yet .

What are the chances that Visa officer will ask her for an NOC. Do they ask all the CG employees.

She can manage to get a letter stating that she has aplied for NOC and will be approved in a week or so. Will that letter help in any way?

I am afraid to postpone the interview as I will not get the slot till November. Can any one suggest any other ideas for this

have seen ur mail, don't know much about NOc,but I need a help from u if u are planning to postpone ur parents visa appt please let me know in advance. no problem if it's telugu or english appt. please let us know in advance if u are postponing it.

In many cases, they give the visa without the NOC. Si if I were you, I would take chances.
