I do not understand the F$#%ing as@#34es reasoning for rejecting my parents vistor's visa.. After waiting for 4 months for appointment, yesterday their visa was rejected.
My History - I have been in USA for 8 years, I have brother here in USA who did his studies and is working on H1 visa(don't know if this affected the outcome of visa), did not go back home after studies. my in-laws went for vistors visa in 2002 and they got rejected. my parents went to visa for the first time yesterday.
The day of visa interview - my parents went on time for interview at 11:45 but, because of some problem with photos, they had to take photos again and went for interview around 4:00 PM. The F@#$KING IDIOTS just took only the DD's and let them in, they did not take any papers like CA certificate, etc.
At the interview desk, there was some 25-30 years old guy, who called the token and asked,
how many children ? what are they doing ? he was just looking at the computer screen and checking something and then put 214(b) and rejected. He did not even ask a single supporting document like my employement letter, my status, my tax papers or anything.. . My father tried to explain saying he is retired (58 years), he has house, business, has another son in india, they will come back to india, gets pension, I am legal here, etc. But he just turned blind eye, not even looking at a single document that we painstakingly prepared.
Now I have to F@#$king wait another 6 months to get an appointment.. I see all kinds of people getting visitors visa, and I feel very unhappy when both, my in-law's(during our first daughter's birth) and now my parents visa got rejected for some reason, they don't tell properly.
They never wanted to come to USA, and I know they will not get adjusted here, but for change in their life I wanted to invite them for visiting us this summer and go back in 2-3 months.
