Hello All,

My parents will be flying into US later this month and will stay with us for 6 months. On return journey, I have them stopping over in Paris for 2 days. I plan to get their French visa once they arrive here, as they cannot apply for it now (can apply only 3 months before entry date).

Do any of you have experience with this? Would there be a problem with the inbound flight? I am not sure if the airline (Delta) , while checking them in for inbound flight, would also check if they have the French visa for the stop over during return flight.

Please let me know.

why should there be any problems in inbound flight to US when they have valid US visa?

they can apply for French Visa in US, no issues. Airlines will ofcourse check for
French visa when they depart US and not when they depart ur home country.
