Hi,
My in-laws are with us for the past three months , they have a visitor visa for 10 years and when they entered the US were give 6 months
on their I-94. Currently, they need to go to
Canada by November(end of 6 months) and stay with their other daughter for 3 months. What choices
do we have ?
I know you have to get a multiple entry visa , but dose canada allow you to stay there for 3 months in that visa and do we have to have apply for extension of US visa or when we come back will they get a new I-94.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

If your parents travel by air, the current I94 will be detached from their pasport by airline staff, and when they return they will be given a new I94, most likely with a 6 mths duration since it is a brand new visit.
I don't know how long canada stamps on the passport on entry however I see no reason why they should not be allowed to spend 3 months with their daughter.

dose that mean no need for ext...

Thanks for the reply bhoray, dose this mean they dont have to apply for a
an extension in the US ???

you could try, to be on the safe side however i don't think it would be necessary since they are leaving the country, canada is seperate from us, especially if they are travelling by air.
