Hi All,
Now that I am a US Citizen, I intend to apply for Immigrant Visa of my dad. Here is the situation:
My dad has US Visitor's Visa (5 Years Multiple Entry), and now a days he is here and his passport was stamped for 6 months entry. I want to apply for my dad's immigrant visa only. My mom passed away 2 years ago.
In I-130 form instructions, one of the requirements mentioned ask for "marriage certificate of parents" in addition to my birth certificate. My parents got married in late 1950's and the marriage certificate has been misplaced...we cannot get duplicate either.
What is the remedy here?
Also should I apply for his change of status or Consular processing?
...gurus...anybody?
Thanks
