Parents Having interview, do I still apply for I485

I'm citizen over a year now. I filed I130 in December for my mother and fater separate forms. They received interview for September 30th, 2010. If they receive vizas, and come to USA, do I still apply for their greencards I485, and pay the fees $1000 each, or they will automatically come on the mail...Little confused, I appreciate your help...

If they receive immigrant visas through the consulate, their green cards will automatically come in the mail within a few weeks after their entry to the US, without them having to pay any more fees or file an I-485 (although they will have a bit of paperwork at the port of entry).

If they're getting tourist visas at the consulate, that's a different story.
