Parents green card interview

I accompanied my parents for green card interview this morning. After the interview, the officer said he will finish the paper work later today and send out a letter for decision. He did not say if my parents got approved or not, but took their I-94. No stamps either. Is this normal? Thank you.

USCIS is not an agency known for anything normal. In your situation, your parents are approved and their green card should be send out in a week or two. If you have an online account on USCIS website, you will see the status change as soon as the IO completes the approval process.
