Parents DOB on Packet -3

What should we fill for parents date of birth on Packet-3, if they don't remeber their DOB? Can we just put some hypothetical date?

Entering an approximate date is obviously the last resort. As the other member suggested, check for any documents that would give you the dates.

Going forward, make sure that the dates you mention in DS 230 match with
the dates put in Birth Affidavits, if any.

My parents don't have any docs which can show their DOB, I think approx date would be my last option

What I said was Birth Affidavits, if any. If you are obtaining birth affidavits from your parents, then they need to put in their birth date also in the document.

What if I just put a guess date given by my parents, do you think they ever ask to submit evidence of parents birth cert. or affidavit?

Well, the best you can do is take approximate dates from you parents and use them. I don't think they would ask for any proof.
