1. Does anyone know how long it takes for the I485/I130to be processed once it is received by CSC? Is it taking longer due to backlog conditions?

2. I didn't apply for I-131 (Advance Parole), yet, for my father. Does anyone know that if I apply now how long it would take.. these days?

Thanks in advance

Also, we had received an RFE to provide a 'Non Availabilty Certificate', earlier. We had sent in the 'non availibility' by November, and by end of December we received Notification that their case has been transferred to CSC.
So Do you think that this can cause any more delay than for those people with clear cases?

From what I have seen in current processing times, it takes a few weeks after moving to CSC for the case to get approved. The good thing maybe your parents case may be approved directly wihtout an interview. Since you sent the RFE details well before it moved to CSC, I assume they have everything in place(including maybe the dreaded name-check).

Could you please post the timeline for your parents, like Receipt date on Notices, FP dates, AP dates, etc., it will give a better idea.

Thanks cscgc for clearing this up. I was worrying that current delays might stretch my parents case as well! I've updated my signature which has the timeline for my parents case. Would you know if I apply for Advance Parole (I131) for my dad now - how long will it take ?

Thanks a ton again.

The NBC processing times says that they are issuing Paroles for PArole applicaitons filed end of Sep. I have known friends who have gotten it within couple of months and some who havent gotten it even after 3months, so it is hard to say. But normally, after a response to RFE, they have to clear the case within 60 days or something. So just hang on, you may get the good news.
