Parents B2 Visa appointment dates availability

I have been trying to schedule an appointment at Chennai US consulate for B2 visa for my parents but it seems that there are no dates available till Mid September. Going to other consulates is difficult for them at the moment. My father is over 60 years of age and hence is eligible for the drop box service. But, my mother is going to turn 60 late this year. Is there a way I can expedite the process for her?
Any suggesion is welcome.
