My mom had an interview at chennai consulate for her visitor visa. The following questions were asked to her
1. Why are you visiting US?
To visit my son and visit some places like Niagra Falls, New York etc
2. Have you been to US before, if so when and how long had you been there during your previous visit.
Yes, in 2000, 3 months
3.How many children do you have?
answered accordingly
4. How long are you going to stay in US ?
4-6 months.
5. Where is your son working?
answered accordingly.
Then returned all the documents that I sent to her by checking it so that it can not be used again and / or others. then they took her pp and asked her to pay the fees.
For people who got rejected due to some any reason, the pp were given to them.
Also one important thing. please tell your parents to take the current pp photo. My mom took the same photo she used 4 years ago
but she was asked to get a recent photo , so she went out side the consulate and there are photo graphers outside the consulate who charged Rs.200 for 4 copies. She paid it and got it and went inside the consulate.
I hope she will get the stamped visa within a week by TT Services.
