So, as I understand it, after I-130 approval, NVC does the following:
1. Assigns case number
2. Sends DS-3032 choice of agent and address form to applicant and petitioner
3. Sends I-864 processing bill to petitioner
4. Sends immigrant visa bill to agent
5. Sends I-864 Affidavit of Support form to agent
6. Sends instruction packet to agent (?)
7. Reviews all info and forwards petition to US Consulate abroad
So far, we have completed steps 1-3 and step 4 is on the way.
Now my question is: Does step 6 (instruction packet) arrive to the agent or the spouse abroad? And is this the packet containing forms OF-169 and OF-230? I'm trying to organize all our documents ahead of time.
