Hi Everybody,
Me and my husband are working on EAD and have advance parole. The GC has been applied by my company and am still waiting for the I-140 to be cleared.
My in-laws want to visit us.Could anybody please tell me what all papers I need to send them?
Thanks for all your help.
The thread under 'Non-immigrant Visas-Visitor visa' will be the
appropriate place to get better answers to this query.
However I will list what I remember. Research the above thread
for more current information, since things have changed in
recent times.
1. Copy of your H1B Notice of approval, the I-94, and the notice
of approval for your spouse (H4 ?).
2. Copies of your passport s(all pages). Don't miss the last
page of your spouse's passport, since it would contain the
names of his parents.
3. A letter from your employer confirming the employment status.
4. Affidavit of support (Form I-134 seperately for both parents-
in-law).
5. An invitation letter from you asking them to visit you.
6. A letter from you, addressed to the Consulate General of USA,
xxxxxxx Consulate, requesting the issue of Visitor's visa.
As I said earlier look for other documents, since I believe now they are asking for birth certificates also to establish relationship.
