Packet # B, How many days

Hi:

How many days / weeks does it take to get Packet # B after sending in the checks for $335 each now.

Pl. let me know.

You must be referring to Packet 3.

What happens, between the time you send the checks and you get your packet 3 is:

Your fee reaches St.Louis office of National Visa Center.
The Bank picks up the checks.
The checks are cashed.
St.Louis intimates the receipt of fee to NVC.
NVC generates the Packet 3 and sends it to you or your attorney.

It is difficult to put a figure on days. It differes from case to case,
widely. But from what I have seen on the forums it is taking 15 to
20 days minimum. In my case, I sent out the fee on 12/2 and when I talked to the lady at NVC, yesterday ( 12/30 ) she told me that the Packet 3 is going out that day. So, it took 28 days.

My friend mailed his check for the Packet # 3 on Nov 19, 2002. He hasn't received the Packet # 3 yet.

How to follow-up and it's status?. Can someone post information for tracking this.
 
Tracking fee payment

1) Check the tracking for the mail first, to see whether it has been delivered at St.Louis.

2) Call the Bank/ place where the Cashier's check or Money Order was purchased, and find out whether it has been cashed.

If it is YES for item 1, and 15 days have passed,

OR

YES for item 1 and 2,

Then call the National Visa Center ( 603-334-0700 ) and ask for the status.
