Packet-4, Affidavit of Support

Folks,

I am leaving mid next week for my CP interview and I haven't received the packet-4 yet. I have the following questions and hope you guys can help answer for me to have a better clarity.

1) What do we receive in Packet-4 - I would assume DS230 Part2, OF-171 (interview letter) and instruction sheet for IV. Is there anything else ??

2) Can a relative/friend be authorized to receive the P-4 on our behalf...will the Consulate entertain that ??

3) How many notarized copies of affidavit of support (per dependant) is normally needed ??

4) Apart from employment letter and I-134 do we need to notarize anything else.

Would appreciate your response.

{The Interview letter (OF-171), A cover sheet, blank copies
of DS 230-Part II, a blank medical report sheet, and an
instruction sheet)

{You can do this, by providing your case number, full name etc)

3) How many notarized copies of affidavit of support (per dependant) is normally needed ??

{One each}

4) Apart from employment letter and I-134 do we need to notarize anything else.

So for husband and wife, do you need 2. Or just 1 with spouse's named as dependent in it?

I think you are asking about i-134 is that right?
if yes then you need I-134 notarized for each dependent.

I jumped in to clarify.

If the question is about Form I-134 you need 1 form for each
dependent.

In your question if the husband is the main applicant then they need just 1 for the wife.
