My attorney got pkt-3 from NVC on last Monday(8/26/02) and send me today(08/30/02) the completed forms duly filled in for my review. He has send me the following -
DS230-I
DS230-II
G-28 and I-134.
My Q is - is it required to have DS230-II at this stage ? I thought it should be taken during interview only - right ?
When is I-134 required ? And G-28 ?

Hi Ranen,\

Yes u need DS230-II at the time on interview but the attorney just sends the doc, so that u can fill it and fax it to the attorney so that he can review it for ur prepartion to interview, so not necssary for the form to send witht Packet 3.

G-28 is the doc ur authorizing attorney to represent u on this case.

Hi Reddy,
Thanks for the reply. Can u tell me is there any minimum bank balance to be shown in I-134 ? My attorney simply wrote N/A for all the lines mentioning bank balance and other assets. He only mentioned my annual salary and that's all !!
cheers!

As far as our GC process is considered, the employment based GC does not require the bank balance, it's for only the family based GC process. So don't worry about the bank balances as long we have the notarized employer letter, that should be fine.
This is just an additional doc, just to show that we do have the bank account with some money in that.

Hi RKReddy,
Thanks once again for the reply. It's now crystal clear. By the way, I talked two of my friends who went through CP and one of them said the same stuff as u. And it's logical too. Anyway, I've no problem in showing the bank balance. but my attorney strictly does not want to show anything - accord to him it's irrelevant.
When is ur interview and which consulate ? Anyway, if it's still due please be conveyed with all the Best Wishes from me !!
cheers!!
