Packet 3 -- How long after I-140

Hi,

My I-140 was approved on 01/02/2002 and the law firm received the approval notice on 01/08/2002. The law firm, however, has yet to get Packet 3 and I was thus wondering how long this usually takes. I will be doing the CP through Montreal.

I have the police certificates, immunizations,...and can\'t wait to get this business over with :)
 
Which service center was your I-140 approved?

I got my I-140 approved on 2/27/02 from VSC. I am also waiting for my case to be forwarded to NVS, which is the next step. As a matter of fact I called the NVC to see if my case has been received, it hadn\'t been as of 3/1/02. It is a bit overly optimistic to expect the case to be transfered within 3 days!. Anyhow the AVM said it will take between 2-4 week from the time I-140 got approved for the NVC to receive the case. I suggest you call the NVC with your EAC number form VSC and findout the status of your case. Pls do post your status along with what service center your I-140 got approved from, Tks. Sri.
