P3 entry by consulate

Hi Folks,
How will one know when the P3 is entered by the consulate after NVC reviews your case and forwards it to the consulate. Will the AVM at NVC be updated with this info?

Once the file goes to the consulate the NVC does not have any
other connection with it and you will not get the status.

Only way you would know is an email or confirmation on phone
(if you call) by the consulate.
